- On arrival, Optus Dining customers have been advised to present their booking confirmation, either printed out or on their mobile device:
- It’s handy to remind the customer of their obligation that each guest must purchase a main meal or spend $50 per person to qualify for the complimentary starter(s). Note that the customer qualifies for the complimentary starter if they meet either of these criteria.
- Offer the customer their complimentary starter. Your restaurant has already selected which complimentary starter option it will provide to the customer (either a complimentary entrée from the existing menu, a small plate from your existing menu or a chef’s special of your choice). This is listed on the customer's booking confirmation email or SMS.
- When finalising the bill, ensure that each guest has ordered a main meal or spent a minimum of $50 per head including GST. If not, the starter(s) are at the customer's expense.
