Create a Package

Create a Package

This guide walks you through setting up a package by linking two or more existing services together into a single bookable item.

Before You Start

Make sure the services you want to include are already created and fully configured — packages are built from existing services, not created from scratch.

The package is essentially a container that fits the linked Services inside it.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Create a new package

  1. Go to Inventory > Services.
  2. Click + Add a new service if you require the package to have it's own schedule or add a sub-service if you want an existing service and schedule to be the primary component of the package.
  3. Choose the service type — Add Class or Multiple Bookings.
  4. Enter a clear, customer-facing name (e.g. "Full Day Adventure Combo") and a short description of what's included.
  5. Add the duration, pricing, and capacity for the Package.
  6. Add the same staff and resources assigned to the Services you're linking.

Add Services to the package

  1. On the Availability tab, click the time slot on the calendar for the relevant day.
  2. In the pop-up, assign the staff and/or resources for this schedule and save it.
    • You must save the schedule before you can link it to another Service.
  3. Click the newly created schedule and enable the Link to other schedules toggle.
  4. Under Select a service, choose the Service you want to bundle into this Package.
  5. Under Select time slot, choose the matching time slot for the Service you're linking.
    • For a same-time offering (e.g. two Services running in parallel), select the matching time slot on the same day.
    • For a multi-part journey (e.g. a morning tour followed by an afternoon activity), select the consecutive time slot instead — Nabooki handles the back-to-back timing for you.
  6. Click Add Schedule, then save the schedule.
  7. Click Update on the overall Availability tab to save your changes.

Configure availability

  1. Review and adjust blackout dates, capacity, and lead times for the Package as a whole.
📝 Note: A Package's availability is generally limited by whichever linked Service is least available. If one Service is fully booked on a given day, the Package won't be available that day either — and this applies across your connected OTA channels too.

Notes / Tips / Warnings

💡 Tip: Keep Package names and descriptions specific about what's included, to avoid confusing customers at checkout.

💡 Tip: Review your Packages whenever you update the price, duration, or availability of a linked Service.

💡 Tip: For multi-part journeys, double-check the time slots you're linking are actually consecutive. Nabooki syncs the schedule but doesn't validate that the timing makes logical sense for the customer.

📝 Note: You can edit a Package's included Services, pricing, or description at any time from Services > Packages.

📝 Note: Removing a Service from a Package doesn't delete the underlying Service; it only removes it from that Package.

📝 Note: Unpublishing or deleting a Package doesn't affect bookings made before the change.

📝 Note: If a Package is sold through a connected OTA channel like Bokun, availability changes to any linked Service sync through automatically to that channel.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

Can I link more than two Services into one Package?
Yes. A Package can contain two or more linked Services, so you can bundle several Services into one signature offering, not just a pair.
What happens if I unpublish or delete a linked Service?
Unpublishing or deleting a Service that's linked into a Package removes it from that Package's availability going forward. Existing bookings made before the change aren't affected, but you'll want to review the Package afterward. Depending on how many Services are left linked, it may no longer make sense as a bundle.
What happens to existing bookings if I edit a Package after it's been booked?
Changes to pricing, description, or included Services apply going forward. Bookings made before the change keep the terms they were originally booked under.
