Create one-off event or seasonal services

Using the Start Date and End Date settings, you can control when a service is open for bookings and shape how a service takes place. This article guide walks you through configuring service availability using start and end dates, and is useful if you want to create:
  1. A season-based service - such as a winter tour and holiday program.
  2. A one-off event or workshop - such as a cooking masterclass, or retreat.
  3. A promotion or trial service - such as introductory offers for new customers.
  4. Short-term services - such as pop-up locations or temporary schedules.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

Can I change the start or end date after customers have booked?
Yes, but existing bookings will remain unchanged. If you shorten the service period, ensure no bookings exist beyond the new end date.
What happens if I don’t set an end date?

The service remains bookable indefinitely. You can add an end date later if needed.

Can I temporarily hide the service and make it visible later?
Yes, you can toggle the Invisible Online setting in the General tab > Advanced Settings at any time.
Does setting a service for a limited time affect my availability settings?
No, service dates only determine when customers can book. Availability depends on assigned staff and resource schedules.
