How to Cancel All Bookings for a Scheduled Event


If you need to cancel all bookings for a scheduled event, you can do so in just a few clicks. This will cancel all customer bookings and prevent further bookings from being made for that event.

Step 1: Access the Scheduled Event

1️⃣ Navigate to Schedule > Calendar from the left-hand menu.
2️⃣ Locate the event you need to cancel.
3️⃣ Click on the event to open its details.


Step 2: Cancel the Event and All Bookings

1️⃣ Click the Cancel Event button.
2️⃣ A confirmation message will appear—review the details before proceeding.
3️⃣ Confirm the cancellation.

Warning
Important: Cancelling the event will:
Cancel all bookings associated with the event.
Prevent any new bookings for the event.
This action cannot be undone.




Alternative: Close Event Without Cancelling Bookings

If you want to stop new bookings without cancelling existing ones:
1️⃣ Follow Step 1 to locate the event.
2️⃣ Click the Close Event button instead of Cancel Event.
3️⃣ Existing bookings will remain active, and you can reopen the event later if needed.

The Cancel Event button only appears if at least one active booking exists for the event.

Will customers be notified when their bookings are cancelled?

When cancelling an event, you will have the option to send a notification or not. A confirmation window will appear, allowing you to:

  • Add optional comments for the customer
  • Choose how to notify customers:
    ✅ Email
    ✅ SMS
    ✅ Both Email & SMS
    ❌ Do not notify

This gives you full control over whether customers are informed about the cancellation.

Can I undo a cancelled event?

No, once an event is cancelled, all bookings are permanently removed. If you need to reschedule, you must create a new event.

Can I cancel some bookings while keeping the event open?
Yes! If you only need to remove certain customers but keep the event open, you can cancel individual bookings from the Bookings List instead.
