How to Log Customer No-Shows in the CRM


Tracking customer no-shows helps you maintain accurate booking records and improve customer management. Nabooki allows you to mark a booking as a no-show, keeping a record of missed appointments in your CRM for future reference.


📌 Key things to know about logging no-shows:
  • Marking a no-show does not automatically cancel the booking.
  • No-show records are stored in the customer’s profile for future reference.
  • If a customer repeatedly misses bookings, you may choose to follow up or restrict future bookings.

How to Log a No-Show

1️⃣ Go to Sales > Bookings from the left-hand menu.
2️⃣ Select the
Past Bookings tab.
3️⃣ Locate the booking using the search bar or by scrolling through the list.
4️⃣ Click the
Action Menu (•••) next to the booking.
5️⃣ Select
View Booking.
6️⃣ Click the
Did Not Show button to mark the booking as a no-show.

✅ The no-show status is now recorded in the booking history.

You do not need to click on the completed button each time as the customer will automatically be marked as completed after the booking commencement time.

How to View a Customer’s No-Show History

In the booking window, you can select the customer's name to be open the customer's profile or follow the steps below.

1️⃣ Go to CRM > Customers from the left-hand menu. 
2️⃣ Use the
search bar to find the customer by name, email, or phone number.
3️⃣ Click on the customer’s profile.
4️⃣ Navigate to the
Bookings tab to see past and upcoming bookings.
5️⃣ Any
no-show bookings will be marked accordingly.

Does marking a no-show cancel the booking?
No, marking a booking as a no-show does not cancel it. You will need to manually cancel the booking if necessary.
Can I prevent a customer from booking again if they frequently no-show?
There is no automated restriction, but you can manually review their history and decide whether to take action.

Will the customer be notified if I mark them as a no-show?
No, customers do not receive a notification when their booking is marked as a no-show.
Can I remove a no-show status if I mark it by mistake?

Yes, open the booking and change the status back to Completed or another appropriate status.
