Need to block out specific times when bookings aren’t available? The Busy Time feature allows you to prevent customers from booking during specific hours of the day, ensuring your schedule remains flexible and under control.
The Busy Time feature is used to:
✅ Block out specific hours or periods when bookings shouldn’t be available.
✅ Prevent overbookings by reserving time for meetings, breaks, or personal commitments.
✅ Temporarily block scheduling conflicts for maintenance or private events.
📌 Busy times do not affect your overall service availability settings but will override open time slots for specific days.
1️⃣ Log into your Nabooki account.
2️⃣ Click on Schedule from the left-hand menu.
3️⃣ Select Calendar and then locate the date you need to adjust.
1️⃣ If you manage multiple staff members or resources, select the individual staff or resource calendar before proceeding.
2️⃣ Click on the starting timeslot in the calendar where you want to block availability.
3️⃣ Select Busy Time in the top tab of the window.
4️⃣ Set the duration for how long the time should be blocked.
5️⃣ Click Add busy time to confirm.
✅ Busy times will now appear in your calendar as blocked slots. Customers will not be able to book during these times for that staff/resource.
🔹 To edit: The busy time can be dragged and dropped into a new timeslot and the duration can be changed by clicking and dragging the time slot from the bottom.
🔹 To remove: Click on the busy time slot to open the window and select Delete busy time to restore availability.
📌 Removing a busy time slot will immediately open up that time for bookings again.
