Reinstating bookings

When a booking is cancelled or changed, Nabooki keeps a placeholder in the original time slot β€” shown as a transparent booking with a red cross. You can use this placeholder to reinstate the booking or remove it from your calendar entirely.

This guide will walk you through the steps to reinstate a booking using the placeholder time slot.

Before You Start:
  1. Placeholder time slots only occur for single bookings (appointments or one-on-one bookings)

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Go to Schedule > Calendar in the left-hand menu.
  2. Find the original time slot and locate the placeholder β€” it appears as a transparent booking with a red cross.
  3. Click the placeholder to open the booking details.
  4. Click Reinstate booking.

The booking will reappear in your calendar as an active booking.

πŸ“Note: If the booking was moved to a different time slot, reinstating it will return it to its original date and time.

If you no longer need the placeholder, you can remove it from your calendar completely. This action cannot be undone and customers do not receive a notification.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

What happens if I don’t remove a cancelled booking?
The placeholder will stay visible in your calendar for reference, but it won’t affect availability or prevent new bookings.
Can customers see placeholders in their booking history?
No, placeholders are for internal use only. Customers will not see them in their booking records.
