How to Set Up and Manage One or More Business Locations

The Locations section in Nabooki is where you manage your business address, contact details, operating hours, and additional locations.

Every business has at least one location, and additional locations can be added if your business operates in multiple places.

Step 1: Access the Locations Page

1️⃣ Click Settings from the left-hand menu.
2️⃣ Select Locations.
3️⃣ Your Primary Business Location will already be listed here.

✅ If your business has multiple locations, you can add additional locations from this section by selecting the blue + button.

Step 2: Edit Your Business Address and Contact Details

Your primary location includes:

  • Business Address – Displays on the booking widget (if enabled).
  • Phone Number & Email – Used for customer inquiries.
  • Operating Hours – Defines the general availability of services.

To update your location details:

1️⃣ Click the action button (•••) next to your business location.
2️⃣ Select
Edit Location.
3️⃣ Update the
address, phone number, email, or operating hours.
4️⃣ Click
Update to save.

Step 3: Managing Business Hours & Blockouts

Setting your business hours helps customers plan their visits and bookings effectively and also sets your booking availability.

To update business hours:

1️⃣ Navigate to Settings > Locations > Hours tab.
2️⃣ Adjust the opening and closing times for each day of the week.
3️⃣ Click Update to save.

Adding Blockout Dates (for closures or holidays)

If your business will be closed on specific days, you can add blockout dates:
1️⃣ Navigate to Settings > Locations > Hours.
2️⃣ Click Blockout and select the relevant date(s).
3️⃣ Click Update to save.

✅ Blockout dates override standard business hours and prevent bookings on those days.

Closed online booking - This button will close the selected day(s) for online bookings. Once closed, your customers will be directed to call you to check availability and make bookings for the selected date (see below).

Step 4: Assign Locations to Existing Services & Staff

If an additional location is added, you must assign it to your existing services and staff.

Services:
1️⃣ Go to Inventory > Services.
2️⃣ Click the action button (•••) next to a service and select Edit.
3️⃣ Under the General tab, select the correct location(s).
4️⃣ Click Update to save.

Staff & Resources:
1️⃣ Go to Settings > Staff (or Settings > Resources).
2️⃣ Click the action button (•••) next to a staff/resource and select Edit.
3️⃣ Under the Locations field, select the applicable location(s).
4️⃣ Click Update to save.

🚨 Note: Services must be assigned to the correct location to ensure customers book at the right place.
