Identifying agent bookings

Identifying agent bookings

Overview

It is important for agent bookings and the overall payment and commission status to be easily identifiable.

Where to Find Agent Bookings

All agent bookings appear in the standard Orders and Bookings dashboard, alongside direct bookings.

To access them, navigate to Sales > Orders.

You can identify agent bookings in a few ways:

  • They are tagged or associated with the relevant agent account
  • On the Order page / Bookings list page, the side drawer will show “Created by agent” under the Booking details section
  • This will be consistent across the Orders page as well
This is not visible as individual bookings in the merchant overview/dashboard. Instead, the number of bookings is displayed, grouped by source under Bookings by source > [name of the agent], allowing merchants to quickly see booking volume by originating source.

How Agent Commission Appears as a Payment

For net agent bookings (made by a logged-in agent), commission is recorded in the system as a payment type called:

Manual Payment – Agent

This payment is automatically applied at the time of booking. It represents the commission amount the agent is entitled to, reducing the invoice balance to the net amount payable by the agent.
