Instant Booking vs Booking Request

This setting controls how a booking is confirmed after a customer submits it. You can understand the options below, and follow the steps to enable this setting. 
  1. Instant Booking — the booking is confirmed immediately and the customer receives a confirmation straight away
  2. Booking Request — the booking is held as pending until you approve or decline it. You receive an email with the booking details and can respond directly from your email without logging into Nabooki.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Go to Inventory > Services
  2. Click on the service to edit. 
  3. Click Advanced Settings to open the menu. 
  4. Under Booking Type, select:
    1. Booking Request to enable bookings on request.
    2. Instant Booking to enable instant confirmation. 
  5. Click Update to Save your changes. 

Troubleshooting & FAQs

Can I change the booking type for an existing service without affecting current bookings?

Yes. Changing the booking type only applies to new bookings. Existing confirmed bookings remain unchanged.

Can I switch back from Booking Request to Instant Booking anytime?

Yes. You can change the booking type whenever you like by following these steps.

How do I approve or decline Booking Requests?
You can review and manage booking requests in several ways: directly from the notification email, via the Calendar, under Sales > Bookings in the navigation menu, or by using the sidebar notifications to open the booking ticket and then click Confirm or decline.
