  2. Search for the customer you want to update.
  3. Click the ••• button next to their name and select Edit.
  4. Make the necessary changes to the customer's details, such as their name, email address, or phone number.
  5. Click Update to save.

Merge duplicate customer profiles

  1. In the left navigation menu, go to CRM > Customers.
  2. Find the customer record you want to merge.
  3. Click the ••• button next to their name and select Merge.
  4. Follow the prompts to combine the two customer profiles into one.

💡Tip: Use Merge to clean up duplicate profiles created when a customer has booked under different email addresses or names.

Delete a customer profile

  1. In the left navigation menu, go to CRM > Customers.
  2.  Find the customer you want to remove.
  3. Click the ••• button next to their name and select Delete.

⚠️ Warning: Deleting a customer permanently removes their record and all related booking data. This action cannot be undone.

CUSTOMER DATA AND PRIVACY REQUESTS

In some cases, legal or record-keeping requirements may mean a customer's data cannot be fully erased. If a customer requests complete removal of their details and booking history, contact Nabooki support directly. Where full deletion isn't possible, Nabooki can remove or redact identifying information to protect the customer's privacy while preserving your historical booking records.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

Can I undo deleting a customer?

No, deleting a customer permanently removes their data and cannot be reversed.

Will deleting a customer remove their bookings?
No, past booking details will remain visible in the Calendar.
Is it safe to merge customers?

Yes, merging combines duplicate profiles without losing booking or contact history.

This is particularly useful when the customer makes a mistake when entering their personal details at the time of booking, as each "unique customer" results in a new customer profile being created.

Can I update customer details after bookings are made?

Yes, customer details can be updated anytime regardless of booking status.
