Managing resource availability
In addition to creating a resources basic hours of availability, you can also fine-tune hours and block-out it's availability to manage resources on specific days.

Fine-tuning resource hours
Fine-tuning hours lets you adjust a resource's availability for specific dates without changing its regular schedule — for example, if a resource is only available for half a day.
The steps below cover how to fine-tune hours from the Resource Settings. If you prefer to make adjustments while browsing the calendar, you can also fine-tune day-by-day directly from the Schedule > Calendar view.
To fine-tune resource hours:
Go to Settings > Resources.
Find the resource you want to adjust and click the action button (•••).
Select Edit.
Click the Hours tab.
Select Fine-Tune Hours for Specific Dates.
Click the Select Dates field and choose one or more dates from the calendar.
Enter the new start and end times.
Click Update to save your changes.

The updated hours will override the resource's regular availability for the selected dates only.
To remove future fine-tuned dates, re-open the Fine-Tune Hours menu and select View Future Fine-Tuned Dates. From there, you can either reset dates individually or click Reset All to restore normal hours across all fine-tuned dates.
Block-out resources
Blocking out a resource closes off its availability for specific dates without changing its regular schedule — for example, marking a resource as unavailable over the Christmas period.
The steps below cover how to block-out from the Resource Settings. If you prefer to make adjustments while browsing the calendar, you can also blockout directly from the Calendar > Schedule view.
To block out a resource:
Go to Settings > Resources.
Find the resource you want to adjust and click the action button (•••).
Select Edit.
Click the Hours tab.
Select Block Out.
Choose the date or dates you want to block out.
Click Update to save your changes.
Existing bookings will remain unchanged, but new bookings will follow the updated resource availability.
Yes! Select multiple dates when fine-tuning to adjust several days simultaneously.
After making adjustments, check the calendar view to confirm the updated availability.
