A package (also called a bundle) lets you group two or more Services together and sell them as a single bookable item — for example, combining a morning kayak tour and an afternoon snorkel trip into one "Full Day Adventure Combo" with its own price, description, and schedule (linked to the existing service schedules).
How It Works
Instead of customers booking each Service separately, you create a new service that acts as a container for two or more existing Services. You set the Package's own pricing, description, and schedule, and link the underlying Services to it behind the scenes.
Once connected, Nabooki keeps the container and its linked services in sync in real time. Availability for the package always reflects the current availability of everything linked to it. If a linked service is fully booked, sold out, or has a schedule changed, that's automatically reflected in the package. You don't need to manage separate calendars for each service; the package handles it for you.
Customers see the package as a single listing on your booking page. They complete one checkout and receive one booking confirmation — even though multiple services are bundled inside. Behind the scenes, Nabooki continues to track each individual Service within the Package separately for scheduling, staff and resource allocation, and reporting. You can even issue tickets for each of the package components.
For example: if the package has 2 people booked, it will book them into both individual services so you don't go over your capacity limits.
Packages only work with class or multiple booking types. They can't be used with single or appointment-style bookings.
Where to Find It
You link Services together from the Availability tab of a Service you're setting up as a Package.
Key Concepts
- Package (Container Service) — two or more existing Services grouped together and sold as one bookable item, with its own price, description, and schedule.
- Component Service (also called a Linked Service) — an individual Service that's been linked into a package. Each component Service must already exist and be fully configured (availability, staff/resources, pricing) before it can be added.
What You Can Build
- Full-day experiences — pair a morning tour with an afternoon activity.
- Signature packages — bundle your top-performing Services into one premium offer.
- Multi-part journeys — link consecutive time slots across different Services so they run back-to-back, with the schedule taking care of the timing.
Benefits
- Offer a bundle discount — reward customers for booking multiple Services together, such as pricing a whale-watching cruise and harbour dinner cruise $15 less than booking both separately.
- Highlight signature experiences — feature your most popular combinations at the top of your booking page, like a "Best of the Reef" Package pairing a snorkel trip with a scenic flight.
- Create combined offerings — bundle related Services so customers don't have to work out the logistics themselves, such as pairing venue entry with a guided experience.
- Increase average order value — turn a single booking into a bigger sale, such as bundling a half-day kayak tour with a sunset paddle add-on, without building a brand-new Service from scratch every time.
Works With Your OTA Channels Too
Packages sync through to connected booking channels, such as agents and OTA's, so availability updates flow through automatically. If a date closes out on one of the linked services, it closes out on the package everywhere it's sold — no manual updates needed across channels.
Notes / Tips / Warnings
⚠️ Warning: Packages only work with class or multiple booking types — they can't be applied to single or appointment bookings.
📝 Note: each service in a package must already exist and be fully configured before it can be added.
📝 Note: Some changes to a component service (particularly staff, locations and session times) can affect the package that contains it. Review your packages after editing any service that's part of one.
📝 Note: A package's availability is generally limited by whichever component service is least available. If one service is fully booked on a given day, the package won't be available that day either.
📝 Note: "Package" and "Bundle" refer to the same feature. Both terms describe the same setup — grouping existing services together under one bookable listing.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
No. packages only work with class or multiple booking types. This applies to both the container service and every service you link into it.
Yes. If the package is distributed through connected channels, availability changes to any linked service flow through automatically to the package everywhere it's sold. You don't need to manually close out dates on each channel.
The package availability reflects the real-time availability of every linked service. If any single linked component is fully booked, sold out, or has a blackout date, the package becomes unavailable for that date too, even if the other linked services still have space.
