Removing a promo code from a booking

If a promo code has been applied to a booking in error, or a customer requests its removal, you can remove it directly from the booking's payment details. The booking total will automatically recalculate once the discount is removed.

Step-by-step instructions

  1.  In the left navigation menu, go to Schedule > Calendar or Sales > Bookings.
  2. Find and open the booking with the promo code applied.
  3. Navigate to the Payment tab in the booking details.
  4. In the Discount section, click the red X icon next to the promo code.
  5. The discount will be removed and the booking total will update automatically.

📝 Note: The Payment tab also displays any gift vouchers applied to the booking. The same X icon can be used to remove a gift voucher discount if needed.

How can I tell if a promo code was applied to a booking?

Check the Payment tab in the booking ticket to see any promo codes or gift vouchers and the discounts they provide.

Can I remove a promo code after payment has been processed?

Yes, simply remove it by clicking the red “X” next to the discount in the Payment tab and save the booking.

The amount owing will now be displayed and payment can be accepted.

Will the booking total update automatically after removing a promo code?

Yes, the total recalculates automatically once the promo code is removed.

What should I do if I want to apply a promo code after booking?

You can manually apply a promo code in the Payment tab by clicking the Apply code button and entering the valid code.
