How to set individual service schedule start and end dates

Our booking system offers a streamlined way to manage the availability of your services. This article will walk you through how to edit the start and end dates for each individual schedule, ensuring your offerings align perfectly with your operational hours and special occasions.

This feature eliminates the need to create new services each time a schedule change is needed. Whether you're modifying the availability of classes that run on specific days or extending the duration of a seasonal offering, you can directly update the start and end dates of existing schedules. This ensures your service listings remain clear and consistent, avoiding confusion among your clients and reducing the administrative overhead associated with managing multiple entries for what is essentially the same service.

Editing Schedule Dates

You have the flexibility to adjust the start and end dates for each of your schedules directly from the Availability tab of your service. This feature is crucial for businesses looking to adapt to seasonal changes, special events, or revised operational hours without the need to create new services.

Steps to Edit an Individual Schedule
  1. Using the left navigation menu, go to > Setup > Services > press the '...' button > Edit > Availability tab

  2. Select the specific schedule you want to edit. You can do this by clicking on the schedule directly, which will bring up the editing modal and deselect the checkbox "Sync this schedule to the service start and end date"



  3. When this checkbox is deselected, start and end date fields are displayed. If you are unable to select and end date, deselect the checkbox 'None' 



Additional Considerations

  • Date Limitations: The custom start and end dates you set cannot extend beyond the overall service period. Dates falling outside the service's duration will be automatically disabled to prevent scheduling conflicts

  • Visibility of Adjustments: Once you've customized a schedule's dates, these adjustments will be highlighted in orange on the schedule tile for easy recognition



Should you need to revert your individual schedule back to align with the service’s overall timeframe, simply reselect the Sync this schedule to the service start and end date checkbox. This action hides the custom date fields and syncs the schedule back to the service’s main start and end dates.

Managing Expired Schedules

To keep your Availability tab uncluttered, our system offers the option to Hide expired schedules. This feature, when enabled, ensures that past schedules do not appear in your current planning view, making it easier to focus on upcoming and active schedules.


Final Steps

After making your adjustments, don’t forget to save your changes. This ensures your service availability reflects your new schedule settings, providing your clients with up-to-date information.

By following these steps, you can easily customize the availability of your services to match your business needs, enhancing both your operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
