Enable staff notifications

This article is to set up Staff notifications, if you use staff like resources to complete bookings, and want them to receive booking notifications. 

📝 Note: If you want to set up business or booking notifications to other users, please use setting up business notifications.

To set up staff notifications, three things must be in place: 
  1. They must be created as a staff in Nabooki.
  2. They must be assigned to the relevant service.
  3. They must be enabled in your business notification settings. 
Before You Start:
  1. Make sure the staff member's email address is correct, in Settings > Staff.
  2. Make sure the staff is assigned to the service in Inventory > Services > Staff & Resources. 

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Go to Settings > Notifications
  2. Select the Business Notifications tab.
  3. Ensure email notifications for staff are enabled. To send both email and SMS notifications, set this to Both.
  4. Click Update to save your changes.



Troubleshooting & FAQs

Why is my staff not receiving booking notification emails?

Verify that the staff member’s email address is correctly entered in Settings > Staff. Also confirm notifications are enabled in Settings > Notifications and the staff member is assigned to the relevant service.

Can staff receive booking notifications via SMS?

Yes, if SMS notifications are enabled, in credit, and the staff member’s mobile number is provided correctly.

Can I control which staff receive notifications?

Yes. Only staff assigned to a service receive notifications for bookings of that service.
