Setting up Google Reviews

The Reviews Widget can display your Google Reviews alongside your Nabooki reviews on your website. This guide walks you through enabling Google Reviews in the widget and linking your Google Business Profile so the integration works correctly.

Before You Start:

  1. You'll need to make sure your Google Place ID has been set up on your Business Location. If this hasn't been set up, do this first then come back here.

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. In the left navigation menu, go to Online Widgets > Customisation.
  2. Tick the checkbox next to Show Google Reviews.
  3. Click Apply in the top right corner of the reviews section to save.
To preview your Google reviews on your widget, go to Reviews Widget and click preview.

đź’ˇ Tip: The Reviews Widget displays a combined rating that adds your Nabooki and Google Reviews scores together, giving visitors a complete picture of your reputation.

Things to know:

  1. Google Reviews limit: Only 5 Google Reviews will appear in the widget due to restrictions from Google. Customers can click View All Reviews in the widget to see the full list on your Google Business Profile.

  2. Automatic refresh: Google Reviews in the widget update automatically on the 15th of each month.

  3. Manual refresh: To pull in new reviews sooner, disable and then re-enable the Show Google Reviews option in Online Widgets > Customisation.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

Can I display Google reviews without Nabooki reviews?

How often are Google reviews updated in the widget?

Google reviews are updated automatically on the 15th of each month. You can trigger an immediate update by toggling the Google Reviews feature off and on.
