Show remaining spots for group bookings

When you turn on the remaining capacity display for a service, customers see the number of available spots next to each time slot in the booking widget. This is useful for group classes, workshops, and events where spaces are limited.

Before you start

  1. This setting is configured per service. Make sure you have the service set up before following these steps.
  2. This setting only works for group or multiple bookings.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Go to Inventory > Services.
  2. Click the ••• (three dots) menu next to the service and select Edit.
  3. Select the Booking Preferences tab.
  4. Scroll to the Show Remaining Capacity setting > Select Yes
  5. Click Update to save.

Once saved, the number of remaining spots will appear in the booking widget next to available time slots. The count updates in real time as bookings are made.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

Why isn’t the remaining capacity displaying for my service?

Check the following:

  • Ensure "Show Remaining Capacity" is enabled in the Booking Preferences tab.
  • Confirm that the service has a set capacity (this feature does not apply to unlimited bookings).
Can I set a threshold so remaining capacity only shows when spaces are low?

No, currently the remaining capacity will always be displayed when the setting is enabled.

Does the remaining capacity update in real time?

Yes, the number of available spots updates immediately as new bookings are made.
