Using the timetable widget

The Timetable Widget displays your upcoming schedules in a weekly view that customers can browse and book from directly. This guide explains how the widget works and walks you through adding it to your website.

What is the timetable widget?

The timetable widget is an embeddable tool you can add to your website to show customers your live schedule availability.

The timetable widget also:
  1. Displays schedules by week or day — in time order, from the start of the day to the end.
  2. Includes a book now button, so customers can book from the widget.
  3. Reflects your live availability in real time.

The Timetable Widget only shows schedules that meet the following conditions.

A schedule will appear if it:
  1. Belongs to an active service or sub-service that hasn't been deleted, expired, or deactivated
  2. Is active and falls within the service's active dates — whether recurring or specifically adjusted
A schedule will not appear if:
  1. It overlaps with another schedule from the same calendar, resource, or staff member
  2. The service is offered at more than one location — the widget automatically uses the first location only
  3. The service has more than one option — the widget automatically uses the first option only

Change a schedule name

By default, the widget displays the service name and availability for each schedule. If you've added a schedule name, that name is shown instead.
  1. Go to Inventory > Services.
  2. Select the service you want to update.
  3. Click Availability.
  4. Click the schedule you want to rename.
  5. Enter the schedule name in the pop-up and save.

Hide remaining capacity from customers

By default, the widget shows how many spots are still available for each schedule. You can turn this off if you prefer.
  1. Go to Inventory > Services.
  2. Click Edit on the relevant service.
  3. Go to Booking Preferences.
  4. Set Show remaining capacity during booking to No.
  5. Save your changes.

📝 Note: The widget uses colour to indicate schedule status: green for available, red for full, and grey for closed.
