Changing the account owner

This process walks you through the steps to transfer account ownership to an existing user.

Before You Start:
  1. Who can do this: Only the current account owner can promote another user to owner.
  2. The new account owner must have Manager-level access to be promoted to account owner.
  3. If you would like to transfer account ownership to a new user, please create their profile first by adding a new user and then come back here.

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Log in to your Nabooki account.
  2. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Users.
  3. Click on the ellipsis menu of the user that you want to promote.
  4. Select Promote as Owner
  5. Enter your current Password and select Confirm to save.
Once the new account owner is saved, the previous owner is downgraded to their prior access level. You can remove the previous account owner by deleting their user-profile.

📝 Note: The account owner can be identified by the star icon next to their name. n
