How do I make a booking

How do I make a booking

Overview

As an agent, you have a dedicated Agent Booking Tool for each operator you work with. When you make a booking while logged in, your commission is automatically applied, so you only pay the net amount. Here's how to make a booking step by step.

Step 1: Access the Agent Booking Tool

  1. Log in to the Nabooki Agent Portal.

  2. Navigate to the Merchants page.

  3. Click Book button next to the operator's business name.

This opens your dedicated Agent Booking Tool — a version of the operator's shopping cart that only shows the services activated for your agency.

Staying Logged In to Your Booking Tool

When you access the Agent Booking Tool via the Book button in your Agent Portal, you are automatically logged in and your device will remember you for future visits.

Being logged in is required to make net bookings. When you are logged in, commission is automatically applied at checkout and you will see the net price payable — not the full gross amount.

How to confirm you are logged in:

  • The commission amount will appear automatically during checkout, visible in the pricing breakdown tooltip.
  • If you do not see commission auto-applied during checkout, this is a sign that you are not currently logged in to your booking tool.

What to do if commission is not showing:

  1. Log in to your Agent Portal and navigate back to the Merchants page.
  2. Click the Book button to re-launch the Agent Booking Tool — this will restore your authenticated session.
  3. Re-enter or check your booking to confirm that commission is now being applied.

Step 2: Select Your Products

Browse the available services and select the ones your customer wants to book. Only products that the operator has activated for your agency will be visible.

Default is the shopping cart booking tool.
Note for agents: You should refrain from adding multiple travel dates in one transaction. Each main travel date should be created as a separate booking.

Step 3: Add Customer and Booking Details

Enter the required details for the booking, including:

  1. Customer name and contact information.
Note: When creating a booking, agents should decide who receives booking notifications and tickets. If the agent intends to distribute tickets offline or manage a large group, the agent should enter their own email address so all confirmations and tickets are sent directly to the agent. If the agent prefers customers to receive notifications and emails directly, the customer’s contact details should be used instead. In all cases, invoices and commission details are never visible to customers.

  2. Travel/visit date and time

  3. Number of guests/participants

  4. Any other required fields for the selected service

Step 4: Review the Price at Checkout

At the checkout step, you'll see:

  1. The net price payable — the full price minus your commission.

  2. A tooltip showing the commission breakdown: how much commission is being applied and what the original full price is.

This transparency ensures you always know exactly what you're paying and what commission you're earning.

Step 5: Choose a Payment Method

Depending on your account settings, you may see the following payment options:

  1. Pay now by credit card: Standard payment at checkout.

  2. Pay by invoice: Available for invoice agents — no payment required at the time of booking. The amount will be payable directly to the operator in accordance with the terms of the agent’s agreement with the operator and will be followed up externally to the platform.

Step 6: Confirm the Booking

Complete the checkout. The booking is confirmed immediately, and:

  1. A booking confirmation is generated for the customer.

  2. The bookings appear in your Bookings page in the Agent Portal.

  3. Commission is shown as a payment type: Manual Payment Type - Agent (and settled, for net bookings).
