Some businesses have casual or visiting staff who work on specific days rather than a fixed weekly schedule. In Nabooki, you can manage these staff members by setting limited availability to reflect their actual working hours.
If the staff member is not yet in the system, you will need to add them first.
1️⃣ Go to Settings in the left-hand menu.
2️⃣ Select Staff to open the staff management page.
3️⃣ Click + Add new and enter their details.
4️⃣ Click Update to create the profile.
Since casual or visiting staff don’t have a regular schedule, you can limit their availability to specific dates using one of the following methods.
1️⃣ Go to Settings in the left-hand menu.
2️⃣ Select Staff and click on the staff member's name to open their profile.
3️⃣ Go to the Hours tab.
4️⃣ Set their default working hours to Closed if they don’t work regularly.
5️⃣ Use the Fine-Tune Hours feature to manually add their available dates and times.
6️⃣ Click Update to save changes.
Alternatively, staff availability can be updated directly from the Calendar.
1️⃣ Go to Schedule in the left-hand menu.
2️⃣ Select Calendar.
3️⃣ In the Staff & Resources panel, select the staff member whose availability needs to be updated. The staff member must be selected for the clock icon to appear.
4️⃣ Click the clock icon next to the date that needs adjustment.
5️⃣ Set the available hours for that date.
6️⃣ Click Save to apply the changes.
