How to Update Your Nabooki Account Email Address


If you need to change the email address associated with the account owner, follow the steps below. This process involves adding the new email as a user and promoting them as the account owner.

AlertImportant: Updating this email does not change your notification email address. 
If you need to update your notification email, you’ll need to do this separately in your notification settings.


Step 1: Access Your Account Settings

1️⃣ Log into your Nabooki account.
2️⃣ Click on your
profile icon in the top-right corner.
3️⃣ Select
Users from the dropdown menu.





Step 2: Add a New User

1️⃣ In the 'Users' window, select the blue Add new user button.
2️⃣ Provide the name and 
new email address.
3️⃣ Set the access level to
Manager.
4️⃣ Click
Create to confirm.






Step 3: Confirm the New User Email

📩 Nabooki will automatically send a confirmation email to the new address. The email includes:
  • A username (the new email address).
  • A password setup link (valid for 60 minutes).

✅ The new owner must click the link in the email to set a password and log in.


Step 4: Promote as Owner

1️⃣ Once the new user is added, go to User Management.
2️⃣ Click on the
Action button next to the new email.
3️⃣ Select
Promote as Owner.


 

🎉 The new email address is now the account owner!
 The previous owner’s email will be removed from ownership.

You can now delete the original user account from the action menu if required.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

What happens to the previous owner’s email?
Once promoted, the old owner no longer has ownership permissions but will remain as a user unless removed manually.
Can I change the email without adding a new user?
No, Nabooki requires that a new user be added and promoted to ensure ownership transfer security.
I didn’t receive the confirmation email. What should I do?
  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Ensure the email address was entered correctly
  • Try resending the invitation from the User Management page
  • If the issue persists, contact support (details below)
