Setting up booking notifications

Booking notifications keep you and your team informed when a new booking is made. This article walks you through enabling and configuring notifications for both your business and your customers

Before You Start
  1. You'll need access to your Nabooki account settings.
  2. To send SMS notifications, you'll need SMS credits. See: How to Purchase SMS Credits and Check the Balance.

Set up business notifications

    1. In the left navigation menu, go to Settings > Notifications.
    2. Make sure you're on the Business Notifications tab.
    3. Toggle email and SMS notifications on or off at the top of the tab to control alerts for all new bookings.
    4. Configure who receives notifications — you can send them to:
      - A main business email address
      - A secondary email address (such as an owner or manager)
      - Assigned staff members (useful for staff who work across multiple locations)
    5. Enable the daily summary email if you'd like your team to receive a roundup of the day's upcoming bookings.
    6. Click Update to save your changes.

    Set up customer notifications

        1. Switch to the Customer Notifications tab within Settings > Notifications.
        2. Tick the checkboxes to enable or disable email and SMS notifications sent to customers for new bookings, updates, or cancellations.
        3. Configure feedback emails in this tab if you'd like customers to receive a review request after their booking.
        4. Click Update to save your changes.

📝 Note: New bookings also appear as a notification at the top right of your screen, next to your account profile.

💡Tip: Add webmaster@nabooki.com to your safe senders list to prevent booking emails from being marked as spam. You can also set up a filter in your email client to send booking confirmations to a dedicated folder for easy reference.
