How to Edit or Reset Fine-Tuned Hours for Resources
Fine-Tuning allows businesses to adjust a resource’s availability for specific dates without altering its regular scheduling. This is useful when:
- A resource (e.g., a meeting room, vehicle, or shared equipment) is available or unavailable for a limited period.
- You need to override default resource hours to accommodate special bookings.
Step 1: Access the Resource Fine-Tune Hours Settings
There are two ways to access Resource Fine-Tuned Hours:
Method A: Via Resource Settings
1️⃣ Navigate to Settings > Resources.
2️⃣ Locate the resource whose availability you want to adjust.
3️⃣ Click the action button (•••) and select Edit.
4️⃣ Click on the Hours tab.
5️⃣ Select Fine-Tune Hours for Specific Dates.
Method B: Via the Calendar
1️⃣ Navigate to Schedule > Calendar.
2️⃣ In the Staff & Resources panel on the left, select the resource, which availability you want to adjust.
3️⃣ Locate the date that requires adjustment.
4️⃣ Click the clock icon next to the date to open the Fine-Tune window.

Step 2: Apply Fine-Tuned Hours for Specific Dates
1️⃣ Select the date(s) that need adjusting.
2️⃣ Enter the new start and end times for availability.
3️⃣ Click Update to apply the changes.
✅ The updated availability now overrides the staff member’s regular hours for the selected dates.
Reset or Remove Fine-Tuned Hours
1️⃣ Go to Fine-Tuned Hours via either method above.
2️⃣ Click View Future Fine-Tuned Dates.
3️⃣ A list of modified dates will appear.
4️⃣ Click the action button (•••) next to a date to:
- Edit the fine-tuned hours for that date.
- Reset to normal hours to remove adjustments.
5️⃣ To reset all fine-tuned hours, select Reset All to Normal Hours at the top.
Removing fine-tuned hours restores the staff member’s default availability.
The modal will show all future fine-tuned hours and have the ability to:

- Reset a specific fine-tuned hours date

- Reset all fine-tuned hours to normal hours

- Edit the specific fine-tuned hours set
Existing bookings will remain unchanged, but new bookings will follow the updated resource availability.
Yes! Select multiple dates when fine-tuning to adjust several days simultaneously.
After making adjustments, check the calendar view to confirm the updated availability.
