Step 6: Test, embed & go live

Step 6: Test, embed & go live

Before you share your booking page with the world, run a full test to make sure everything works exactly as it should.

What you’ll do in this step

  • Complete a full end-to-end test booking

  • Verify payments, emails, and SMS reminders

  • Embed your booking page or widget

  • Go live and announce to your audience

1. Run a full test booking

Open your booking page or widget as a customer would — either in an incognito browser tab or on a different device. Complete a booking from start to finish:

  1. Choose a service and select a time slot

  2. Fill in your details (use a real email address you can check)

  3. Complete payment using a real card (you can refund yourself afterwards)

  4. Check that the confirmation email arrives and contains the right information

  5. Check that the SMS reminder is scheduled correctly (if required)

  6. Verify the booking appears in your Nabooki dashboard and calendar

  1. Make a test booking

2. Test cancellation and rescheduling

While you’re in the test booking, also test:

  • Cancelling the booking — confirm the cancellation email is sent and the slot is freed up

  • Rescheduling the booking — confirm the new time is reflected correctly

💡 See a detailed Help Guide

  1. Cancel or change a booking

3. Fix any issues before going further

If anything doesn’t work as expected — wrong time zone, missing confirmation details, payment errors — stop and fix it before moving on. Contact Nabooki support via live chat at nabooki.com if you need help diagnosing an issue.

4. Embed on your website

Once you are happy with the outcomes you can embed or activate your booking page on your website.

Go to Online Widgets > Booking Widget to get your Booking Page URL or Booking Tool code. Copy the embed code / url and paste it into the relevant page on your website. Most website platforms (Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, Webflow) support embed codes — look for an ‘embed’ or ‘custom code’ block.

5. Go live!

You’re ready. Head back to the launch checklist and make sure you've covered all the steps, then you are good to go.

  1. Full go-live checklist

6. First week monitoring

After you go live, keep a close eye on the first week of real bookings. Check:

  • Bookings are coming through correctly

  • Payments are being processed without issues

  • Reminder emails and SMS are sending at the right times

  • Your reporting dashboard — review occupancy, revenue, and any cancellations

If anything needs resolving, contact Nabooki support at nabooki.com via live chat or phone.
