Understanding Online, Physical, and Mobile Locations in Nabooki


In Nabooki, you can configure services to be offered at a physical location, online, or as a mobile service where you travel to customers. 
The location types differ in how service details are displayed in the customer's email notifications.

Physical Location (Default Setting)

  • Used when customers visit your business for their booking.
  • The business address is displayed on the booking tool and confirmation emails.
  • If you have multiple locations, customers can select their preferred branch during booking.

✅ Best for: Salons, clinics, studios, gyms, retail services, and any business operating from a fixed location.


Online Location

  • Used for virtual services, such as consultations, webinars, and coaching sessions.
  • The system will not display a physical address.
  • You can provide the meeting link manually or set up an automated email with access details.

✅ Best for: Virtual appointments, remote training, online workshops, and telehealth services.


Mobile Location

  • Used when you travel to customers instead of having them visit you.
  • The business address is hidden.
  • If needed, you can specify a service area in the description or use custom booking fields to confirm location suitability.
✅ Best for: Mobile beauty therapists, personal trainers, pet groomers, cleaning services, tour guides, and event planners.

AlertImportant: Nabooki does not enforce location restrictions for mobile services, so you may need to manually review bookings if necessary.

Assigning a Location Type to a Service

1️⃣ Go to Inventory > Services.
2️⃣ Click the action button (•••) next to the service and select Edit.
3️⃣ Under the General tab, find the Location Type field.
4️⃣ Choose Physical, Online, or Mobile from the dropdow




Troubleshooting & FAQs

Can I offer services across multiple location types?
Yes! Each service can have its own location type, allowing you to mix physical, mobile, and online services.
Can I restrict bookings to a specific service area for mobile locations?

Nabooki does not automatically enforce service area restrictions, but you can:

  • Add a custom field for customers to enter their address.
  • Clearly state service area limits in the service description.
  • Manually review and confirm bookings based on location (you can change the service type to booking requests if needed)
What happens if I select the wrong location type?

You can always go back to Inventory > Services > Edit > General tab to update the location type.
