How to Display Availability by Date Without Showing Times


For multiple booking services that operate on a fixed schedule, you may not always want to display the exact start time to customers. The Hide Bookable Timeslot feature allows you to remove the timeslot selection from the booking widget, so customers only choose the date and see if spots are available—rather than selecting a specific time.


When Should You Use This Feature?

This setting is useful when a service has only one scheduled session per day, and displaying the start time is unnecessary.

Common Use Cases:

  • Day tours – Customers only need to know if the tour runs on their selected date.
  • Excursions or activities with one session per day – No need for customers to select a start time if only one option exists.
  • Events – If an event only runs on select dates with a fixed start time, customers can simply choose the date without selecting a specific timeslot.

How to Hide the Bookable Timeslot

1️⃣ Go to Inventory > Services.
2️⃣ Click the
••• (three dots) action menu next to the service and select Edit.
3️⃣ Navigate to the
Booking Preferences tab.
4️⃣ Locate the option
"Hide Bookable Timeslot".
5️⃣ Select
Yes to enable this setting.
6️⃣ Click
Update to save changes.

📌 Once enabled, the booking widget will only display availability for the selected date without requiring customers to select a timeslot.




How This Appears in the Booking Widget

🔹 Instead of showing a start time selection, customers will only see available or unavailable dates.
🔹 The system will notify customers if there is availability for the quantity selected.



Troubleshooting & FAQs

Why don’t I see the "Hide Bookable Timeslot" option?

Ensure that:

  • The service is set up as a multiple booking service.
  • The service has at least one scheduled session schedueld.
Can I hide the bookable timeslot if I have multiple sessions per day?
No, this feature is designed only for services with one scheduled session per day.
If multiple sessions exist, customers must select a timeslot to ensure you can manage capacities correctly and the customer knows when to arrive.
What happens if I enable this setting for a service that has multiple times per day?
The earliest scheduled session for the selected date will be automatically assigned. If this is not the desired behavior, leave this setting disabled.
