Promotions let you create discounted or special versions of your existing services. They inherit most details but allow changes to the title, price and availability. Promotions show in their own booking widget separate from the main service.
Use promotions to highlight specific sessions or fill quieter time slots. For example, a fitness centre can create a promotion for discounted classes only on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, or limit a promotion to just boxing classes from a main pass.
1️⃣ Using the left navigation menu, go to Inventory > Internal Promotions.
2️⃣ Click Add Promotion.
1️⃣ The dropdown labeled Select source lets you choose whether to base the promotion on an Existing service or an Existing promotion.
2️⃣ Choose the appropriate source from the dropdown to inherit its details.
By default, Base this offer on an existing service or promotion is selected. This is the most common option, allowing you to reuse existing service or promotion details. You can deselect this to create a promotion completely from scratch, which is useful for one-off events or special services.
1️⃣ Change the Title, Price and other details to reflect your promotion.
2️⃣ Since promotions are based on scheduled services, go to the Availability tab. Here, you can either keep all schedules selected or deselect any schedules not included in the promotion offer.
Scroll down and click Update to save your changes.
1️⃣ Open the promotion and go to the Booking Preferences tab.
2️⃣ Scroll down to the bottom and click View installation instructions to expand.
3️⃣ You’ll find source codes to add either a Book Now button or the entire widget for embedding on your website.
Manual bookings made via the Calendar require you to select Promotional Booking in the booking type tab instead of the default Booking. This ensures the booking is correctly linked to the promotion.
Yes. Promotions are independent and do not change your original service’s availability or settings. However, if the promotion is "based-off" a multiple booking service with capacity, the capacity of regular plus promtional bookings will not exceed this capacity.
This also allows a class fo say 10 to be limited to only 2 promotions per class if you wish.
Yes. You can create as many promotions as needed, each with its own title, pricing and availability. You can use these for various marketing campaigns or target customers.
Yes. This helps customers easily find and book special offers.
