Create a service
Services are the bookable activities, appointments, classes, or experiences
you offer through Nabooki. This article walks you the first initial steps to create a new
service. Once created, you can configure its settings in the following
articles:
- Services: Configure general tab
- Services: Assign staff & resources tab
- Services: Set availability tab
- Services: Booking preferences tab
Before You Start:
- Make sure you have at least one staff or resource set up. A service cannot be booked until one is assigned to it.

To enable online payments, you will need a payment gateway connected.
Step-by-step instructions:
To set up the initial service:
1. Go to Inventory > Services
2. Click + Add new Service to create a service.
3. Choose your service type:
- Add Service: for single bookings.
- Add Class: for group bookings.
- Add Other: to manually select a booking type.
4. Next, enter the Name of the Service.
5. Select a Location Type:
- Physical – displays your business address to customers
- Mobile – hides your address (useful for mobile or on-site services)
- Online – for virtual sessions with no physical location
5. Enter the Price.
6. Set the Duration
7. Click Continue to save.
