How to Notify Your Staff Directly of New Bookings
Keeping your staff informed about new bookings helps streamline operations and ensures everyone is prepared for upcoming appointments or services.
To ensure your staff receive booking notifications, it is essential that their email addresses are correctly configured in Nabooki. This enables the system to send booking alerts directly to the relevant staff members.
Step 1: Verify Staff Email Details
1️⃣ Using the left navigation menu, go to Settings > Staff.
2️⃣ Select the staff member you want to notify.
3️⃣ Ensure their email address is entered correctly and mobile number is set if they are to receive SMS notifications.
4️⃣ Click Update to save any changes.
Staff without valid email addresses will not receive booking notifications.
Step 2: Assign Staff to Services
1️⃣ Navigate to Inventory > Services.
2️⃣ Find and edit the service for which staff need to receive notifications.
3️⃣ Go to the Staff & Resources tab.
4️⃣ Add or remove staff members assigned to the service.
5️⃣ Click Update.
Only staff assigned to a service will receive notifications related to bookings for that service.
Step 3: Enable Staff Notifications
1️⃣ Go to Settings > Notifications.
2️⃣ In the Business Notifications tab, make sure email notifications for staff are enabled or set to 'Both'.
3️⃣ Click Update to save changes

Verify that the staff member’s email address is correctly entered in Settings > Staff. Also confirm notifications are enabled in Settings > Notifications and the staff member is assigned to the relevant service.
Yes, if SMS notifications are enabled, in credit, and the staff member’s mobile number is provided correctly.
Yes. Only staff assigned to a service receive notifications for bookings of that service.
