How getting paid for vouchers works
The Coast is Calling Program is a government-funded initiative by the South Australia Tourism Commission (SATC) to stimulate tourism across the coastal areas that have been affected by the Algae Bloom. South Australia Tourism Commission have partnered with Nabooki (Bookings Platform) to power the bookings and voucher redemption process.
How the voucher pay-out system works:
- The Coast is Calling Marketplace lists all participating accommodation and tourism providers.
- Voucher winners use the marketplace to make a booking with an eligible provider.
- Operators receive the booking through the Nabooki Platform, or via their own system if they have chosen the link-out option.
(If the operator has chosen the link out option, they must recreate the booking in Nabooki.) - Once the booking has taken place, the operator must check in the booking in Nabooki.
- Each week, Nabooki generates a reports of all checked-in bookings.
- The report is reviewed and submitted to SATC for payment processing.
- Nabooki processes the payment to the operators nominated bank account.

Important:
- Payment can take up to 30-days to arrive in the provided bank account.
- The report and pay-cycle occurs weekly.
- Nabooki does not withhold funds for operators, however some bookings may be paid out in bulk-payments depending on the quantity of bookings.
If you have not received payments in the last 30 days, after checking in your bookings. Please contact us as soon as possible.
Collecting payments and payment gateways
We encourage all providers to integrate a payment gateway to reduce cancellation risks, booking loss and ensure guests commit to their booking.
Nabooki provider multiple payment gateway options, and also features to send an invoice to customers.
Payment Integration
Nabooki allows payment integration to:
- Paypal
- Stripe
- Braintree
- Eway
- Square
- Kovena (recommended)
You can easily connect or integrate a payment gateway by going to your Nabooki App and heading to the Online Payments module. If you have an existing account you can connect it theres, or you can register for a Kovena account from the Nabooki app.
Payment via Nabooki invoicing
Nabooki gives you the ability to send and customise an invoice. The Nabooki invoices are not an automated system, operators must take action if they would like to use this method.

Payment on arrival or independently
- If you have chosen to collect the payment independently or on arrival, you must take responsibility for the payment collection.
